Major Responsibilities:

1.   To achieve the sales targets set by the Sales Manager -                          

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

 a. All targets are met by the sales executive.

 b. Sales are increased by 10% annually.

2.  To sell vehicles and automotive materials, accessories, and products to customers.

                                                                                                                                       

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

a. Correct vehicles are sourced from the warehouse.

b. Items are delivered within 48 hours of receipt from the warehouse.

c. Where items are not available action is taken to source vehicles, materials and accessories immediately.

3.  To check all vehicles carefully and have vehicles prepared for delivery to customers.                                                                                                                   

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

a. The correct vehicles are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.   

b. Invoices are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.

c. Requested accessories and products are supplied in a timely manner.

d. Total value of vehicle and accessories are collected.

4.  To staff the Sales Department and provide quality service to customers.         

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

a. All sales are completed through quality customer care.

b. The Sales Department is adequately staffed at all times.

c. Customers do not have to wait over five (5) minutes for adequate service.

d. Established operating procedures are practiced and maintained.

5.  To answer customer queries via the telephone, e-mail by providing prompt responses.                                                                                                        

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:                  

a. All vehicle inquiries are responded to within 10 minutes.

b. All telephones are answered within three rings.

c. The quality and integrity of the information provided is maintained.

6.  To prepare estimates and quotations for customers.                                            

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ATTAINED WHEN:     

a. Estimates are prepared and provided within 30 – 60 minutes of the request.

b. Quotations are prepared and provided within one hour of the request via e-mail.

c. Estimates and quotations are accurate.

7.  To assist with inspection and licensing of vehicles.                                              

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

a. Assistance is provided when required in the inspection of vehicles.

b. Assistance is provided when required in the licensing of vehicles.

8.  To provide ongoing feedback to management on changing trends and customer responses to our products, prices, services weekly by report, contribute to discussions in meetings, and make recommendations for improving revenues.     

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

A. The Sales Manager – The brand is updated weekly on trends, customer responses to product, prices and service.

B.  There is full participation in meetings.

C.  Five (5) items are identified for which sales revenues can be improved through price changes or better inventory management.

9.  To maintain a tidy and orderly Sales Department and display areas by sorting catalogues.                                                                                                                  

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

A. Counters and display areas are always clean and tidy.

B. All catalogues are sorted daily.

C. Desk and environs are always clean and tidy.

10.  To monitor, log and report all lost sales and support and participate in the sales capture process by referring potential lost sales to the Sales Manager –  for follow-up.                                                                                                                             

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

A. All lost sales are reported within 24 hours.

B. All potential lost sales are referred to the Sales Manager - within 24 hours.

11.  To participate in Saturday openings, overtime work, stocktaking, projects and specially assigned tasks when required.                                                                             

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

A.  Saturday openings are adequately staffed to provide quality customer care.

B.  All overtime work is efficiently completed.

C.  All projects and specially assigned tasks are completed on time and to agreed standards.

D.  Stocktaking is completed in the time allocated.

12.  To perform any related duties assigned by the Sales Manager - .     

SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE WILL HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED WHEN:

a. All assignments are carried out to agreed standards.
