Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes to ensure the applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency in application development.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom extensions in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud following the clean core approach.
Build custom business objects and services using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
Develop and enhance Custom Business Objects, Custom Fields, and Custom Logic using Key User Extensibility tools.
Develop Adobe Forms for output management including invoices, purchase orders, and business documents.
Implement Custom CDS Views, OData services, and API-based integrations.
Design and develop custom APIs and service consumption within RAP.
Work with SAP standard events, business events, and extensibility frameworks.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP Public Cloud development guidelines.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support testing, deployment, and documentation of developed solutions.
Required Skills
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
Strong experience in **SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Cloud development and extensibility framework.
Hands-on experience with In-App (Key User) and Developer Extensibility.
RAP Development
Expertise in **RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
Experience creating:
o CDS Views
o Behavior Definitions
o Behavior Implementations
o OData V4 services
Knowledge of ABAP Cloud development guidelines.
Key User Extensibility
Experience with:
Custom Fields and Logic
Custom Business Objects
Custom CDS Views
UI Adaptation
Business Context Extensions
Forms Development
Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms in S/4HANA.
Experience with Output Management and BRF+ configuration.
Knowledge of form templates for business documents.

Additional Technical Skills
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform integrations (preferred).
Knowledge of API-based integration using SAP standard APIs.
Understanding of Event-driven architecture and business events.
Experience with Fiori UI integration and OData services.
Familiarity with Git-enabled ABAP or ADT tools.


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP BTP Application Development.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and best practices.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
