The Sales Application Support will be responsible for supporting the dealer sales and direct channel team by managing the quoting process for customer-specific options for our material handling solutions. This role will involve working closely with our sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure that quotes are accurate, timelines are adhered to, and administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

What we offer:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-    Act as the primary point of contact for sales team members with regards to customer-specific option quotes
-    Work with the dealer sales and direct channel team to understand customer requirements and develop quotes for customer-specific options

-    Assess the technical feasibility, qualify the solution in a consistent manner with regards to technical and commercial constraints 
-    Create or maintain accurate and detailed customer options documentation, working with including bills of materials, pricing sheets, and engineering drawings
-    Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure that customer requirements are translated into functional designs and that designs are optimized for manufacturability
-    Collaborate with the production team to ensure that quotes are based on realistic and accurate production timelines and costs
-    Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the quoting process, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise

-    Manage pricing documentation and processes, including price lists, discounts, and proposals well understand costs, configuration and pricing logics
-    Provide support by preparing reports, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities for improvement

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

-    Previous experience in a sales support or technical role (preferably in the material handling industry or comparable)
-    Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
-    Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external customers
-    Experience with CRM software and quoting tools

Preferred:
-    Knowledge of material handling equipment and systems


Education:
-    Associate's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
