About the Role
Based in Bucharest, Romania or Budapest, Hungary, you'll manage and develop relationships with Skechers' franchise partners across Central & Eastern Europe, helping drive commercial performance while protecting the integrity of our brand. Working closely with our European Franchise, Retail, Merchandising, Marketing and Country teams, you'll support franchise partners in delivering an exceptional customer experience, executing retail best practices and achieving sustainable business growth. Through regular travel and store visits, you'll provide coaching and guidance on merchandising, operations, product knowledge and retail excellence.
What You'll Do
Sales & Commercial Performance
- Partner with franchisees to identify opportunities that drive sales growth, profitability and KPI performance.
- Deliver sales training, retail initiatives and promotional campaigns to support commercial success.
- Analyse store performance and recommend actions to improve results and customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute seasonal retail, marketing and merchandising initiatives.
Franchise Partnership & People
- Build strong relationships with franchise partners through regular calls, business reviews and store visits.
- Coach and support franchise teams to deliver excellent customer service and consistently high retail standards.
- Share best practices and ensure alignment with Skechers policies, procedures and brand expectations.
- Act as a trusted business partner, helping franchisees achieve their commercial objectives.
Product & Visual Merchandising
- Support seasonal and quarterly assortment planning across Men's, Women's and Kids collections.
- Ensure stores maintain the right product mix, stock depth and visual presentation.
- Provide guidance on merchandising, floor layouts and in-store execution to maximise sales and enhance the customer experience.
Retail Operations
- Ensure stores operate in line with company policies, brand standards and local legislation.
- Support new store openings, promotional events and key business initiatives.
- Monitor store standards and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Prepare business analysis, quarterly business reviews and other management reports.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in retail and/or franchise management, ideally overseeing multiple stores, locations or partner networks.
- Experience within footwear, fashion or lifestyle retail is an advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data and turn insights into action.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence and support franchise partners across different markets and cultures.
- Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English is essential; additional Central & Eastern European language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) across the region, with occasional international travel as business needs require.
