Solutions Architect – Modernized Software Architectures & Scalable Systems

Job Description:
Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of modernized software architectures and scalable systems. This role will focus on delivering innovative technologies to support organizational goals, leveraging Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The Solutions Architect will play a key role in creating competitive solutions while ensuring technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and a growth-focused strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in solution design, program execution, proposal development, and cross-functional leadership, with a strong background in cybersecurity, SIGINT, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design modernized software architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with business development, capture management, and technical teams to create competitive solutions and strategies that position the organization as a market leader.
• Develop technical briefings, white papers, and proposals detailing innovative solutions for customers.
• Apply Agile methodologies to lead programs through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring ideal outcomes in schedule, performance, and cost.
• Execute Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) for large programs requiring precision in scope, funding, and schedule integration.
• Lead the transition of teams and organizations from waterfall to Agile practices, creating efficient workflows and fostering collaboration.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring successful delivery of solutions and projects.
• Spearhead initiatives to transform innovative solutions into market-ready products, facilitating widespread adoption and driving scalable business growth.
• Direct the end-to-end commercialization lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and enhancing accessibility for broader consumer markets.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field (preferred).
• Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience:
  • Proven expertise in software and hardware modernization programs for mission-critical operations.
  • 20+ years' experience leading programs to scale, growing personnel and annual revenue significantly.
  • Hands-on experience developing signal collection prototypes and next-generation architectures.
  • Broad technical expertise in cybersecurity, data analytics, SIGINT, mission management, and solution development.
  • Skilled in Agile Development Methodologies and Earned Value Management Systems.
• Skills:
  • Strong background in solution design, proposal development, and program execution.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and team collaboration skills to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Expertise in strategic initiatives and technology roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions within constraints of schedule and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the US Intelligence Community and Department of Defense mission requirements.

Clearance Requirements:

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with FS Polygraph.
