Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Business Development Manager to join our Global Industries team.In this role, you will be responsible for driving net new sales and revenue growth within existing customer accounts by identifying unique solution requirements and creating powerful value propositions. You will work closely with a matrixed organization of account managers and representatives to expand our footprint within assigned vertical markets.
In this role, you will:
Drive Revenue Growth: Execute strategic account plans and marketing initiatives to increase the Iron Mountain footprint within assigned accounts, ensuring consistent quota attainment through proactive prospecting and networking.
Collaborate for Success: Partner with Managing Directors, Global Account Managers, and internal departments to lead complex negotiations and deliver tailored solution proposals that meet client Service Level Agreements and profitability targets.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain a consistent sales pipeline by managing timely responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), tracking all activity in Salesforce.com (SFDC), and adhering to all ethical behavior and company compliance policies.
The ideal candidate will have:
10+years of experience in selling services, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with insurance companies.
Strong knowledge of strategic account management, solution selling processes, and current market trends within assigned vertical industries.
Proven ability to influence and negotiate at the executive (CXO) level by translating complex customer needs into actionable business insights and value statements.
A Master’s Degree or Post-Graduate degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
