Product Manager – Service Request Straight Through Processing

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Service Request Automation capability, helping shape a world-class digital service experience that balances client needs, regulatory obligations and operational excellence.

Do work that matters

As the Product Manager – Service Request STP, you'll shape the product strategy and roadmap for multiple key in-life journeys across transaction banking for the largest organisations in Australia. You'll guide the transformation of key service journeys to being fully automated from the current manual processing into a secure, scalable and digital-first experience that delivers value for clients, operations and the business.

Working within an agile environment, you'll partner closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, IB Operations and Financial Crime teams to simplify complex processes, improve data quality and drive instant outcomes in our flagship corporate & institutional channel, CommBiz.

This role requires a blend of product leadership, stakeholder influence, regulatory expertise and customer-centric thinking.

What you'll do

• Define and evolve the product vision, strategy and roadmap for in-life transaction product service STP.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery, launch and optimisation.
• Translate client needs, regulatory requirements and business objectives into actionable product outcomes.
• Act as the product lead liaising with multiple product teams, evaluating processes through a product management lens and determining where digitisation, automation and simplification will deliver the greatest customer and business value.
• Balance customer experience, operational feasibility, risk considerations and technical capability when shaping product direction and prioritising investment decisions.
• Make strategic recommendations on where automation can create the most value, while identifying areas where human intervention remains critical to achieving optimal outcomes.
• Co-ordinate subject matter expertise across the chosen product processes identifying opportunities to simplify and digitise client journeys.
• Partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance and Operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions and manage dependencies across crews.
• Manage stakeholder requirements across Coverage, IB Operations, Financial Crime Operations and support functions to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery outcomes.
• Utilise customer insights, performance metrics and operational data to identify pain points, measure success and prioritise future investment.
• Drive adoption, change management and continuous improvement to maximise business and customer outcomes.

We're interested in hearing from people who have

• Significant experience within Institutional Banking, Transaction Banking or Financial Services.
• Deep knowledge of transaction banking products & regulatory obligations.
• Proven experience contributing to complex product initiatives from strategy through to execution.
• Strong understanding of risk, governance and compliance frameworks within banking environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, using data and insights to drive decision-making.
• Strong technical and process analysis skills to shape solution automation approaches.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments and leading cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.
