Shingle & Gibb’s Outbound Sales Representative performs remote sales and is responsible for generating revenue to achieve annual goals within an assigned market area by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts and increasing opportunities with existing customers. The OBSR will drive sales and further progress our business as a distributor and leader in the high technology controls and automation world. The OBSR will exude a passion for the customer by exceeding their expectations and building strong partnerships with current and prospective clients. Essential Job Functions
• Be a true outbound technical sales resource while growing assigned account base.
• Solve real-world industrial automation, engineering, and application problems to help customers improve manufacturing processes and business efficiencies utilizing all our Supplier's products.
• Determine the sales potential of prospective accounts document in CRM potential tables and assign to the appropriate account representative based on sales potential
• Be a consultative resource to customers for new automation projects.
• Create new business opportunities within an assigned group of customers via telephone, email, direct marketing, and in-person visits.
• Introduce new problem-solving ideas and products for challenging applications.
• Follow up and document all leads and corporate marketing initiatives.

• Work closely with management and region to develop strategies to effectively reach the customer base and aid District Sales Managers in opening doors to new and existing accounts.
• Quarterly field visits to learn about product applications and build relationships.
• Daily outbound sales calls documented in CRM
• Utilize LinkedIn and other tools/social media platforms for prospecting and promoting Shingle & Gibb
• Communicates, promotes and showcases the Shingle & Gibb Core Values, policies and procedures throughout the organization.

Job Requirements

Education:
• High School Degree or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field is required. Or, equivalent industry experience.

Experience:
• 1-3 years of Industrial Automation Sales Experience is required.
• Experience using CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce is required.

Required Skills:
• Results driven.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Basic understanding of internet access and streaming.
• Strong social media skills on all platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer/ Client focus.
• Problem Solving/ Analyses.
• Technology fluent in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Work Environment:
As a description of the Outbound Sales Department, the Outbound Sales Representative is required to work from a Shingle office location. There will be times that most of the work will be completed in an office setting and a
workspace will be provided including, but not limited to a iPad, computer, phone.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently.

Travel:
The Outbound Sales Representative should expect limited overnight travel.

Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $45,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
