This Position reports to:

Tax Operations Hub Lead

 

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform back-office and administrative activities within the Tax function, aligned with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. You will provide daily support for various projects and initiatives, including project risk reviews and contract structures. Additionally, you will demonstrate your expertise by managing and preparing supporting documentation (e.g., transfer pricing documentation, tax return support, etc.).

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the Tax compliance area for FITAO in San Luis Potosi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of relevant standards, processes, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in corporate tax matters.
• Assist in tax accounting and reporting activities within your area of responsibility.
• Provide support during tax audits and respond to requests from tax authorities.
• Perform Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) processes in the respective areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of recent experience in tax, including monthly and annual tax calculations, preferably as a Junior/Senior Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and familiarity with tax authority software.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a plus.
• Previous experience in an accounting firm is an advantage.
• Advanced English skills (spoken and written).
• Strong teamwork abilities, communication skills, time management, and goal-oriented work style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed).
