The Product Planning Consultant will have responsibilities in identifying the customer need and the larger business objectives that their products will fulfill, articulating what success looks like for a product, and rallying a team to turn that vision into reality. This role will manage the Information Systems and Services CareLink and FocusOn portfolio. This role will oversee the strategy and plan to further our next generation remote monitoring. This role will interact and align the strategic vision with product management, PCS and other functions, business units and geographies within the CRM and MDT.
A successful product manager will have a strong business mindset, able to work across teams and functions, effectively communicate across different layers of the organization, know how to set priorities for the development teams to drive execution, influence without authority, and be successful in defining a direction for the organization.
A Day in the Life:
Develops a coordinated, long-range product plan that meets customer (payer, physician, consumer) requirements and is technically feasible.
Assesses customer requirements through feedback from Product Managers, market research, development and execution of customer feedback programs.
Interfaces with physicians to identify key strategic areas of focus and obtain feedback regarding current and future product plans.
Participates with product managers and R&D teams to translate customer requirements into meaningful projects/products and negotiates trade-offs necessary to meet technical feasibility and customer requirements.
Works with engineering teams to translate product descriptions into product specifications.
Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
Leverage data and analytics, develop models, to identify and track the performance of the product and make informed decisions about investments required to maintain the portfolio of products.
Work with software agile scrum teams to roadmap, prioritize, and be the voice of customers in software development.
Achieve budget and spending goals.

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of relevant experience or 5 years with an advanced degree
Nice to Have:
Experience in medical device, healthcare or IT industry
Experience driving voice of stakeholder activities, product definition, program scope
Experience with complex products including hardware, firmware, and cellular
