Clinical Psychologist-Provide psychological evaluations and testing for adults.

Job Description:

Information about the role:

  • You will be doing bariatric evaluations.

  • You will be seeing 12 to 15 patient per week.

  • Flexibility in hours.

  • This can be a remote position.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Follows the code of conduct of the American Psychological Association and adheres to all codes of ethics as defined.

2. Demonstrates understanding of current and empirically validated treatments and best practice protocols in treatment, and utilizes these in own practice. Assists in the development of evidence-based treatment protocols including outcome studies regarding treatment effectiveness.

3. Interprets and evaluates testing data to improve quality service and patient care through process observation using problem solving tools to identify potential areas of improvement.

4. Incorporates quality into a patient’s individualized care plan. Recognizes patient and family education needs with regard to the plan of care and assesses patient and family readiness to learn.

5. Organizes and executes individualized education plan. Evaluates the plan and works collaboratively with the patient, family, and care team.

6. Provides psychological assessments, psychological testing, and competencies evaluations used to diagnose mental health disorders.

7. Provides counseling (both group and individual) to patients with mental health diagnosis.

8. Provides education and mentoring for students, interns, residents, observers, volunteers, and/or new team members to support their development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctorate of Psychology

  • Current State of Wisconsin Psychologist License through the National Registry of Psychologists
