Why we need you

As a Recruiter specializing in the sourcing of both permanent and interim talent, you will play an integral role in attracting high-performing, diverse talent to fuel the growth of our Asia Pacific team. Leveraging strategic sourcing, market research, and candidate screening, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and the Recruiting team to develop tailored search strategies that identify and engage top-tier external professionals, particularly for our experienced consulting and business support teams.

What we will count on you to do

  • Scope roles and devise sourcing strategies with stakeholders, building a deep understanding of Oliver Wyman’s business and role requirements
  • Implement a variety of effective direct sourcing approaches to identify and attract target talent, driving candidates into the hiring process
  • Conduct comprehensive market mapping and research to enhance industry insights and proactively build, grow and manage robust talent pipelines of both permanent and interim talent
  • Implement diversity hiring initiatives as part of sourcing strategies to build inclusive teams
  • Cultivate relationships with high-quality passive candidates for future hiring needs
  • Lead initial candidate assessments through CV review, phone, and face-to-face interviews
  • Provide hiring managers with high-quality and diverse shortlists
  • Be a first point of contact for external search firm relationships, including our interim partners, ensuring approach consistency and minimize time to hire
  • Partner with Recruiters and stakeholders to ensure excellent candidate engagement and experience
  • Be an Oliver Wyman brand ambassador, representing our firm and culture authentically
  • Actively seek and share insights on employment and industry trends, including benchmarking; proactively share knowledge with the wider recruiting team and stakeholders
  • Regularly and comprehensively track recruiting activity and use data-driven analytics and reporting to update business partners, assess sourcing strategy success, and support decision-making
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to promote our talent value proposition
  • Contribute to strategic team projects, enhancing recruiting best practice
  • Support AI adoption through individual and team use to increase function efficiency and effectiveness.

What you’ll need to have

  • 3 + years’ experience in talent sourcing or acquisition, ideally gained in an in-house recruiting function or leading search firm, preferably within management consulting or professional services
  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • Advanced experience using a variety of search techniques and platforms to target talent, including LinkedIn and external networking
  • Curiosity and a drive to find the best candidates for Oliver Wyman
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term candidate and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • An ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • A solutions-oriented approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and expectations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Workday
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint deliver reports and presentations
