A Material Lead is responsible to assist the supervisor and management for all of the operational areas of the facility, including all reports, manpower, attendance, equipment, safety and housekeeping.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

·         Coordinates and expedites flow of mail volume to the assigned Department for timely processing.

·         Re-assigns personnel as needed to workload

·         Oversee employees and provides on-hand training

·         Advise of Operational issues that require Management assistance.

·         Ensure employees scheduled are in their assigned work area.

·         The Lead is expected to work all functions of the facility or operation as required to ensure the work is completed in a timely and scheduled manner.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Specifically, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

·         Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

·         Ability add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

·         Work with minimal supervision

·         Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.

·         Must be able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met.

·         Ability to concentrate on detail.

·         Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.

·         Adhere to safety practices and programs.

·         Ability to multitask
