HR Operations Coordinator

Location: Dallas, Texas
Reports to: Sr Director, HR Business Partnership (Interim); Future State: HRIS Leader

Position Summary

The HR Operations Coordinator supports employee record management, HRIS transactions, and onboarding, recruiting and benefits administration as needed.  

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, generalized HR knowledge (labor laws, HR policies, and procedures), business communication  

Key Responsibilities

HR Services Support

  • Provide employee life cycle support (onboarding, offboarding, employee record maintenance, and HR inquiries).

    • Scan and insert paper documents into electronic personnel file

    • Order anniversary pins and gift cards for employee milestones

    • Drug test ordering and supplies sent to facilities

    • Compliance poster ordering and sent to facilities

    • Validation of onboarding compliance activities for benefits administration

    • Confirm Wage Theft Prevention acknowledgment in Workday

    • DOT employment verifications

    • Worker’s compensation reporting

    • Occupational Employment Wage and Statistics reporting

    • Mail sorting

    • HR inbox monitoring

  • Support for HR services as necessary

    • Legal team personnel file requests

    • HR transactions

    • Worker’s Compensation

    • Unemployment

    • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associates degree or higher in business or related field required.

  • 1-3 years of relevant HR or administrative experience.

Skills & Attributes

  • Technical proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and MS Office Suite

  • Ethics and confidentiality

  • Attention to detail

  • Business communication skills

  • Efficient and effective completion of responsibilities
