About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Architect to join our expanding Security Architecture and Engineering team within the Information Security department.

 

The Security Architect is responsible for supporting the design and configuration of enterprise information systems in alignment with the organization's security standards and requirements. This role involves reviewing and improving the security posture, reviewing new and existing system security plans, participating in architecture reviews, creating and refining threat models, offering technical guidance to minimize security risks, and overseeing the execution of cybersecurity initiatives.

 

As a Security Architect, you will function in a cross-functional role, collaborating with other teams and serving as a subject matter expert while adhering to industry-best security practices. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Leads the planning, implementation, documentation, and testing of security systems.

  • Develops security standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Partners with business units to understand technology needs and to integrate security across various business use cases.

  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and needs; researching information security standards; plan and collaborate with team members in conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.

  • Prepares security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

  • Maintains relevant job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing tasks; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as required.

 

What You'll Need:

Successful candidates will have extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • API security

  • Orchestration and Automation

  • Scripting

  • Threat Modeling

  • Security Architecture Design

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)

  • Knowledge and application of Cybersecurity Frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CIS

 

Desired Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field

  • Specialty Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $155,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
