Job Description

GE Grid GSI is looking for a working student willing to assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conduct data analysis to compare current business resource needs with business capabilities.
  • Design, develop and implement architecture and data repositories for models to analyze and compare data sets from various sources, primarily in Excel, Smartsheet and Tableau.
  • Design, develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards and reports to effectively communicate and monitor resource deployment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency of data management.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis projects and tasks based on business need.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited German university with focus on Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, IT or similar.
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data sets.
  • Previous internships or courses in data analysis, statistics, or related fields are an advantage but not required.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and in writing is mandatory.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • German language is a plus.
