Linklaters can only achieve its vision and ambition with the support of outstanding colleagues in our business.  As a Paralegal / Support Lawyer you can gain experience within a Magic Circle law firm, working in-house or in an alternative legal service provider environment. You will get experience working with Transactional team, as well as working closely with Linklaters clients, providing advice, training, assistance and offering exceptional client service.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced Paralegal / Support Lawyer with 1+ years of Transactional experience

Qualification/Experience required:

  • LPC or BPC / SQE 1 & 2 / Foreign qualified (LLB + LLM)
  • 2:1 and above degree
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating pre-engagement legal documents such as NDAs, B2B NDAs, reliance/release letters, engagement letters
  • Assisting IBD Legal on ad-hoc transactional work, including reviewing DD reports and legal opinions
  • Revising and updating internal guidelines
  • Participating in charity initiatives

General requirements:

  • Ability to work within a pressurised environment
  • Extremely organised - able to prioritise and manage workload
  • Appreciation of the culturally diverse environment in which the firm operates
  • Excellent eye for detail and presentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (sufficient gravitas and experience to work effectively with more senior colleagues including Partners, Managing Associates and Clients)
  • Willingness to work long hours when required
