Job Description Summary:

Provide medical care to Rheumatology patients. Serve in a clinical educator role, specializing in Rheumatology with the responsibility for education of residents and medical students providing care for inpatients. Provide consultative services for patients cared for by other faculty members at KU Medical Center as well as contributing to various research, educational and clinical initiatives related to areas of interests and expertise.

  • Responsibility 1: To provide excellent care for Rheumatology patients

  • Responsibility 2: To teach and supervise Rheumatology Fellows and rotating Residents and Students

  • Responsibility 3: To initiate and engage in clinical research projects

Required Qualifications

  • Education: MD/DO; Board Certified in Medicine, Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Clinical experience in Rheumatology and experience in education and/or research
