Summary: As a Project Control Services Practitioner, you will develop and execute end-to-end project management activities of an assigned program, project, or contracted service within a globally sourced delivery model. Your typical day will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. You will engage in strategic planning, risk management, and resource allocation to drive project success while adhering to established timelines and budgets. Collaboration with team members and continuous improvement of project processes will be key components of your daily responsibilities. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and facilitate the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to automotive technical publications. Ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. 2. Oversee the creation, review, and publication of technical documents, manuals, and guides related to automotive products or services. Maintain version control, track changes, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. 3.Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including Onshore, Off-shore, quality assurance, to gather project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns related to technical publications projects. 4.Allocate resources effectively to support multiple projects concurrently. Monitor resource utilization, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize productivity and workflow efficiency. 5.Identify potential risks and dependencies that may impact project delivery. Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation procedures to address issues proactively and minimize disruptions. 6. Generate regular progress reports, status updates, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and management. Track project milestones, deliverables, and expenditures to ensure alignment with project objectives and organizational priorities. 7. Continuously assess project management processes, tools, and methodologies to identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and drive operational excellence. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Program Control Services. -Proven experience in project management, preferably in the automotive industry, with a focus on technical publications, documentation management, or related fields. -Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and technologies. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements is desirable. -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Experience in technical writing, editing, or content development is a plus. -Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Power BI) and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint). -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage conflicting priorities, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment. -Leadership qualities with a collaborative and proactive approach to team management. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus among stakeholders. -Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with a focus on delivering accurate and reliable technical publications that meet customer needs and expectations. Additional Information: -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Communication, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
