Job Summary:**
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the efficient and timely execution of production schedules, ensuring smooth workflow, and facilitating communication between various departments at El Carmen Manufacturing Facility.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
* Track and report on production progress, identifying potential delays or issues and proposing solutions.
* Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and quality control departments to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
* Maintain accurate production records, including inventory, work orders, and finished goods data.
* Prepare and distribute production reports, summaries, and other relevant documentation.
* Support the implementation of safety protocols and quality assurance procedures on the production floor.
* Communicate effectively with production teams, supervisors, and management regarding production status and any arising concerns.
* Assist in resolving production-related problems and escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
Required Skills and Education
Job Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, IMA) preferred.
* 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a coordination or administrative role.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
