JR64346 ENGINEER - FACILITIES MECHANICAL

You will play a critical role in handling the engineering and maintenance and project works in the fields of Mechanical Facilities equipment and system on site, to achieve continuous improvement to system adaptability, reliability and efficiency with the guidance and direction from Facilities organization. Your ability to achieve team target will help in accomplishing department and company goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond and problem solving of system issues and production interruptions to mechanical related systems
  • Plan, design and lead Cleanroom mechanical system expansion projects to facilitate tool utilities demand of future technology of manufacturing equipment.
  • Identification, evaluation and potential implementation of advanced technology on Mechanical systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts
  • Enforce to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work.
  • Use computer base software to detail and analyses records of maintenance work order, equipment history and project tracking.
  • Responsible for continual improvement of preventive maintenance programs for systems to achieve efficient system performance and uptime.
  • Engage in driving system reliability improvement initiative to enable maximum equipment uptime and reduction of system interruption.
  • Lead solving and timely response to site for system abnormities to reduce production impacts. Carry out Root cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Perform effective capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systems
  • Innovate ideas, implement predictive maintenance through SMART Facilities initiative in collaboration with control team.
  • Track and supervise equipment spare parts and consumable inventory
  • Plan and ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for Facilities mechanical systems including HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, Fire protection system and cleanroom air systems
  • Identification and enablement of smart technologies and AI for improvement of handled tasks, i.e.: project tracking, maintenance overviews, budget tracking, etc.
  • Procurement tasks involving ARIBA / SAP software for the purchase of services and parts to upkeep the Facilities Mechanical System

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of Facilities Experience
  • Knowledgeable and experienced and application of problem solving and data analysis methodology
  • Extensive knowledge of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work
  • Design and Engineering background of mechanical system such as Chiller plant, Exhaust & Compressed Dry air is a plus.
  • Proficient in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for solving or incidents investigation.
  • Ability to understand and use schematic, single-line drawing and related equipment and system documentation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with various professional level!
