To successfully lead GSK's business in Oncology therapy areas by managing the portfolio of brands and their life cycles. Following GSK's Ways of Working, putting patients' needs & timely access to GSK products at the heart. The BUM will be responsible for driving & implementing strategic plans, executing operational & account plans whilst managing product supply and demand carefully. This can happen through leading the commercial team and aligning support functions to strategic & operational plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Lead, design, and facilitate brand strategy/brand planning process for Oncology products.
- Develop sales forecasts based on Critical Success Factors and Brand Objectives.
- Utilize specific, relevant metrics to measure brand performance against both sales results and non-financial KPIs such as brand preference, customer perception, and patient access.
- Plan, administer, and manage commercial budget and resource allocation based on priority and necessary trade-offs for overall performance of the brand.
- Execute, evaluate, and adjust rolling tactical marketing plans, including both traditional and e-marketing activities.
Launch Management:
- Successfully launched the new Oncology/Hematology pipeline of GSK in Saudi Arabia, ensuring the full delivery of the launch readiness milestones prior to the launch.
- Manage current Oncology business and launch future brands (develop business cases, co-create launch plans with cross-functional teams, hire and develop Specialty capabilities).
- Conduct local launch readiness reviews to prioritize/resolve issues, identify critical path activities and dependencies, and allocate resources.
Market Analysis and Customer Insights:
- Analyze customer insights, healthcare environment, market trends, brand equity, pricing, reimbursement, and clinical profile of the products and relative competition to be used for strategic development and dissemination for commercial execution.
- Build solutions for better patient outcomes through appropriate partnerships and/or collaborations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead the Oncology cross-functional team of GSK Saudi Arabia and manage the direct reports of Oncology sales and marketing teams.
- Drive the team and act as a role model in living the company values of integrity, respect for people, transparency, and putting the patient at the core of every decision.
- Maximize performance of the team through planned (field/office) coaching sessions aligned with Comex.
- Support the team in developing tailored development plans to fit their career aspirations.
- Attract & recommend the recruitment of internal & external talents in collaboration with the HR team.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with the regulatory environment with the goal of maximizing product opportunity.
- Build and maintain compliance knowledge and implement governance processes across the team to ensure that sales force operational activities take place in adherence to GSK's prevailing codes, policies, and procedures and legal requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish strong connections with Oncology Key Opinion Leaders and ensure delivery of the best customer experience.
- Manage customer relationships with key external experts (KEE), top national influencers/prescribers, payers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure strong business partnerships with distributors within the GSK compliance/legal framework.
Operational Excellence:
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities within the Specialty Business Unit, act as a role model to colleagues, coach, and give and receive feedback to ensure the continuous growth of the team.
- Work closely with the Specialty BUH and regional Oncology teams to ensure alignment of the local strategy and operational plans.
- Build the account management capabilities of the Oncology Account Managers, driving value-based key account management as a mindset.
- Ensure the successful execution of the Oncology operational plans & P2P education.
- Prepare and execute the access and reimbursement plans, including working with different stakeholders to ensure timely patients' access to GSK's Oncology innovations.
- Unlock business opportunities and demonstrate a growth mindset and vision of 2-4 years.
- Spend 40% of time in the field coaching the sales teams, connecting with customers, and ensuring a deep understanding of the market insights and dynamics.

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Pharmacist with SHCC license
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3 years of brand marketing experience
- Minimum of 1-year experience in people management
- Sales and marketing management experience in Oncology/Hematology is a must
- Previous Oncology launch and commercial experience in KSA
- Proven leadership and entrepreneurial skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales & marketing positions
- Strong closing skills, coaching to team members
- Proven oral, written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to learn and retain product-specific information and utilize it to position
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to travel as required by the role (up to 50% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates with Saudi nationality are preferred
- Supervisory or management experience, including previous sales experience
- Haematology experience
- Strong knowledge of oncology and haematology, as well as a scientific background and clinical practice
- P&L management experience, strong commercial acumen, forecasting, and financial planning skills
- Global/regional experience or experience in managing cross-country stakeholders is a plus
- An MBA is a plus
