Job Purpose:

As a Business Development Sales Representative with us, you will step into a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You'll be at the forefront of connecting shippers with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods across the country. Your ability to navigate the intricacies of logistics, coupled with your relentless drive to exceed expectations, will be the cornerstone of your success.

Your day-to-day:

  • Be an entrepreneur of your own book of business by researching leads, cold calling, and persuading decision-makers to utilize NTG’s services.
  • Utilize persistent and creative methods to prospect and generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide high level of service through consistent communication to support the daily operational needs of your customers.
  • Participate in required sales training and continuous education to become a subject matter expert in NTG’s service offerings and industry trends.
  • Meet or exceed established production metrics.
  • Collaborate with coworkers in a team-oriented environment.
  • **May perform other duties as assigned. **

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but no degree required
  • Available to work full-time, 100% in-office
  • Tech savvy with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
  • Prior sales experience preferred or passion for inside sales
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
