About the role

As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting product integrity, design accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position partners closely with cross‑functional teams to analyze engineering issues, implement design changes, and ensure product readiness through pilot runs and production support. Your work will directly impact product quality, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and resolving engineering product issues, ensuring alignment with design and quality standards.

  • Creating and managing Problem Reports (PRs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) in accordance with established processes.

  • Coordinating MCS activities and pilot runs to support product validation and implementation.

  • Monitoring and ensuring Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Evaluating alternative materials and supporting temporary or permanent design changes as needed.

  • Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to drive effective engineering solutions.

Requirements

As a minimum, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering or design‑related role.

  • Advanced conversational English (written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).

Although not required, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience using AutoCAD.

  • Ability to interpret electrical and electromechanical diagrams.
