About the Role:
The successful candidate will be working closely with multiple Finance & Accounting departments and operational processes along with providing support and analysis. He/she/they will develop and implement strategic direction for Global Business Service activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the group through both technology and process improvements, while improving the overall control around all Finance & Accounting Services activities. Liaising with corporate senior management team, ensuring that all standards are met, and procedures are followed. Establishes priorities and schedules of main activities. Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with supporting verticals ( HR, Facility, HRBP) and foster a collaborative and productive culture and work environment.
What You'll Do:
The role will be reporting into the Vice- President of GBS and managing his office
Provides peer/ stakeholder, guidance, coaching, and operational oversight to the teams to help solve gaps of strategic importance and will be a driver of change
Understanding of Finance & Accounting process and operations
Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for operational issues and present findings to manager with solutions to the operational opportunities
openness to work round the clock, support global team and work on 24hr TAT model
Escalate issues within the organization in a timely manner
Provides direction to individuals regarding their roles and responsibilities to help meet the overall GBS Objectives
Analyzes and evaluates business processes and recommends actions to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and identify opportunities for reducing operational costs
Ensure GBS weekly/monthly KPIs, dashboards and analytics to measure are published timely
Assists with special financial and business-related projects which impact GBS
Manages and administers controls and compliance, assists with both internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests
Drives an empowered and engaged high performance culture focused on continuous improvement and service delivery
Foster a strong customer service culture across the center to ensure a quality service is delivered to all internal and external customers
Builds and maintains relationships by collaborating across business units and departments to foster trust, commitment, accountability, and results
You are a highly hands on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying industry best practices to help solve business problems and achieve efficiency
What You'll Need:
MBA with strong experience in working for Captive companies.
10-15 years post qualification experience Worked in a Finance and Accounting environment
Advanced ( Must have) skills in Powerpoint, Tableau and Excel
Excellent time management and organization skills, with the capability to manage multiple competing priorities
Must demonstrate the key CS competencies of Thought Leadership and Drive for results.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner and collaborate
Willingness to go the extra mile
Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results with a team-oriented drive and a demonstrated ability to lead by example
Aptitude to pick up new concepts and best industry practice rapidly; ability to explain it to both business stakeholders
Shift Time: 3.00 PM to 12.00 AM IST
