This Position reports to:
Global Business Line Manager, Segment-and Application-Specific Motors
As a Global Sales Manager for ABB's High Power Density Motors, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving sales growth for our advanced motor solutions. In this role, you will use data-driven insights to
anticipate market opportunities and build a solid opportunity pipeline for our Liquid-cooled Motors portfolio. You will support our local sales units with business development activities and in determining the most technically and
commercially appropriate solutions to turn opportunities into business. You will contribute to the product strategy by collecting and sharing market intelligence and deriving customer needs and trends.

This role is contributing to the IEC LV Motors division globally.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Driving top-line growth through proactive sales initiatives, identifying and pursuing global and local opportunities with new and existing customers to expand market reach and accelerate top-line growth.
Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive joint innovation, unlock new business potential, and increase customer loyalty.
Using market, customer, and competitor analysis to anticipate market shifts define winning product/application strategies and guide investment in high-potential growth areas.
Supporting local units with commercial and technical expertise, training, and tools to effectively convert opportunities, win new business, and improve sales performance.
Willingness to travel is required (around 30%).
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
10–15 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales within an industrial company.
Knowledge of Marine segment seen as added value
Highly motivated with a strong drive and commitment to developing business and delivering value through a customer-centric approach.
Solid technical background or good understanding of industrial electric motors and drives.
Proficient interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust, persuade stakeholders, and create long-term partnerships.
Deep understanding of clients' businesses and ability to prioritize their needs to deliver maximum value.
Well-developed analytical skills, adept at interpreting sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
