The primary objective of this position is to provide financial and business leadership to the Aortic US VP of Sales, Area Directors, and District Managers, and Sales Reps.

This Senior Finance Manager role provides financial and strategic support to Aortic US sales leadership to help grow revenue and manage spending to maximize both patient and financial results, as well as have direct oversight of one finance staff member. The role sits within the broader Structural Heart & Aortic Finance team and reports to the Finance Director of Aortic.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Drive growth
Partner with US Sales leadership to achieve key business financial objectives (Targeted Revenue, EBIT, Inventory and Mkt Share)
Lead regional annual operating plan process (Rosters, Alignments, Quota, Expense budgeting)
Lead and coordinate the development of regional and district level strategic plans, to identify and execute on strategies to grow Revenue and improve profit margins
Evaluate region and district opportunity pipelines, implant and usage trends (among other meaningful metrics) for additional opportunities to optimize results
Evaluate and provide leadership with data, to help strategize and prioritize resource allocations and targets
Provide leadership and strategies on new product launch execution and account targeting, to meet or exceed product launch objectives
Collaborate with other groups and functions
With the VP, ADs, DMs, HR, and Total Rewards on sales force alignment, performance, and compensation strategies
With Total Rewards and Sales compensation to ensure proper commission payment to the field and understand how sales incentive plan impacts growth/field behaviors.
With Americas’ COEs for rebates and contracting, and pan-MDT COEs for pricing and Total Rewards
Collaborate with Sales/Commercial Ops business partners to analyze inventory management performance. Work with them to create and implement strategies focused on improvement.
Financial Management and Reporting
Lead and prepare monthly business reviews of P&L results with variance analysis, as well as the updated Forecast, with its risks & opportunities
Provide actionable guidance to sales management, to stay aligned with financial goals, while also maintaining the longer-term strategic goals
Ensure appropriate accounting controls (expense and revenue) and pricing policies are maintained and operating as expected
Partner with Sales to continually improve Revenue forecasting accuracy and what key metrics best drive and support those predictions
Special projects
Prepare financial analysis to support critical special investment initiatives
Collaborating on initiatives across the organization to drive efficiency in processes, tools, and systems
Other Ad-hoc duties/special projects as assigned.
People Leadership
Manage one direct report, including planning, prioritizing, and directing their responsibilities, as well as coaching and developing them
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years) plus 5+ years of progressive leadership experience
Nice to Have
Experience in Pricing, Business, Marketing, or Economics
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Experience working with commercial sales leaders
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Power Point, WWR, and GSR
Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical skills
Proven ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights and coherent strategies
Demonstrated self-starter with communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Must be comfortable working in cross-functional role and navigating many stakeholders
Proven success dealing with time-sensitive ambiguous projects in a dynamic business environment
Experience in Negotiation or Influence Management
Strong presentation skills
