At the Tucson Proving Ground, the Engineering Manager will lead and develop a team of engineering professionals within the Autonomy & Automation System Integration & Validation organization. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of validation and testing activities for Command for Hauling solutions, ensuring all projects, initiatives, and processes meet established safety, quality, and milestone commitments.
As a key leader, you will drive engineering excellence, ensure compliance, and align engineering efforts with strategic business objectives. You will champion common quality practices, including consistent risk identification, issue tracking, and progress toward NPI quality standards. In addition, you will oversee resource planning, guide technical decision-making, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Through strong leadership and adherence to standards and best practices, you will help deliver high‑quality solutions that support both customer success and business outcomes.

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
