The space is well-lit but may feel utilitarian, with raised floors for cabling and restricted access for security.

Physical Demands: The role may involve walking between server rooms and offices, occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 lbs/23 kg), and navigating tight spaces around racks. You might need to stand or crouch for short periods during inspections or troubleshooting.
Safety and Attire: Data centers enforce strict safety protocols, including anti-static measures and closed-toe shoes. Business casual attire is common for office work, with some roles requiring specific gear (e.g., safety vests or anti-static wristbands) in the data center.
