The Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (VCUHS) Administrative Residency role, provides first year master's prepared candidates with hands-on administrative experience and exposure to current challenges facing the health care industry today.

The administrative residency allows the resident to gain unparalleled exposure to a specific department within a multi-disciplinary, complex health care organization.

Residents will gain experience through project-based work, partner with preceptors and leadership to understand and develop characteristics of leadership, and participate in cross-functional learning within the system.

In addition, the residents will have an opportunity to network with current and past Administrative Fellows, colleagues and leaders throughout the organization.

Qualified candidates must be currently enrolled in VCU MHA program.

Bachelor’s Degree and enrolled in an accredited Master’s program in Health Care Administration
