Inflammatix, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated person to support the production activities of our molecular in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) test instrument in Lisbon, Portugal. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a flexible and fast-paced startup environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily production according to the existing manufacturing instructions and work instructions.
• Ensure product quality using test fixtures and test procedures.
• Completing appropriate training, production records and work order documentation, as required.
• Maintaining manufacturing line 5S.
• Interact with engineering team for instrument troubleshooting and consequent documented rework.
• Collaborate in continuous improvement tasks such as work instructions updates, production workflow optimization, and assembly / testing process improvement.
• Be compliant with the Inflammatix Quality Management System across all activities performed.
• Collaborate in a thoughtful, professional manner with team members to achieve group goals and meet timelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical degree in electronics, mechatronics or equivalent work.
• Strong technical ability.
• Proficient in English, oral and written.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Proficient in electro-mechanical assembly processes.
• Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• + 2Yrs Experience in medical device manufacturing (Preferred)
• Experience with 5S methodology (Preferred)
