Job Description:

This position is responsible for servicing our client inquiries including complaints, delivery information, ensuring the daily completion of the order process and all client requirements. The incumbent will provide the highest level of service to the client and other company departments in accordance with company policies. 

Job Title: Administrative Assistant II 

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent / Hybrid

Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)   

Shift Hours: 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week)   

Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time)   

Work Location: 1221 32ND AVENUE LACHINE, QC H8T 3H2

Wage Salary: $18.25 per hour

Key Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Manage Track and Trace activities based on customer requests.

  • Generate and deliver customer reports on behalf of clients.

  • Provide customer guidance on air freight routing options.

  • Schedule customer pickups with carriers.

  • Manage and support a diverse customer base across a large geographical area (Eastern Canada), delivering end‑to‑end customer service.

  • Create and submit CERS documentation on behalf of customers.

Requirements 

  • 1 year of experience in customer service - Required

  • Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) – Required (regular interactions with clients outside Quebec – 80%)

  • Bachelor's degree or International equivalent related to Logistics and transportation (Ciffa, CITT, etc.) – Preferred 

  • Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office – Preferred 

  • Number of transactions and profit per transaction, accurate and timely data entry and information processing, accurate and timely costing and billing for closing of files, and full compliance of all department processes and requirements to improve clients' satisfaction. 

  • Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with 90% accuracy 

  • Fast learn and adapt skills to different systems 

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision 

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, basic research, attention to detail, and time management skills 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
