We’re looking for a Receiver (Temp-To-Hire) to join our PSA division’s Receiving team. You will be responsible for accepting, inspecting, and scanning incoming packages containing customers’ submissions and for supporting the Receiving Supervisor by organizing, separating, and prioritizing mail by marked service level. You will verify that all data is accurate in the database based on the corresponding customer submission and paperwork and enter data into our Grading System. You should have basic typing skills, good problem-solving skills, possess the desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working as part of a team.

You will report to the Receiving Supervisor and work onsite at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters Monday through Friday for PM Shift schedule (Shift 2) of 3:00pm-11:30pm.

What You’ll Do

  • Open, separate, and itemize department’s mail by service type.
  • Match, count, and check items.
  • Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility.
  • Enter item information into the database and print stickers containing order details.
  • Work with the Customer Service department to resolve pending issues with open orders.
  • Work with the Problem Orders department to resolve problems and expedite completion of customers’ orders.
  • Work with the Sales department for orders that have special deals and/or pricing.
  • Work with other cross-functional teams on special projects and/or deals. 
  • Attend National Trade shows and represent the company in a professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Long periods of sitting, walking and/or standing
  • Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, squatting, and regular hand use
  • Regularly lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds or more with employee help and/or proper equipment

Hourly Range: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $17. Shift 2 workers are also eligible for an additional $1/hr premium, in addition to their standard hourly rate. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
