About this role

BlackRock is seeking a Cyber Infrastructure & Tools Analyst to join its Cyber Operations organization in the APAC region. This role supports the investigation, monitoring, and operational efficiency of cybersecurity capabilities that underpin the firm’s security infrastructure. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining reliable security telemetry, strong detections, and consistent operational processes across the region.

This position is well suited for an early‑career cybersecurity professional who is diligent, meticulous, and eager to develop hands‑on experience within a collaborative and high‑performing environment.

Responsibilities

In the position of Cyber Infrastructure & Tools Analyst, you will:

  • Assist in the investigation and examination of cybersecurity alerts and incidents throughout the APAC region.

  • Perform initial triage and validation of security events to assess relevance and severity.

  • Assist in maintaining the quality of detections, incident handling processes, and the reliability of security telemetry and monitoring capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the implementation and refinement of security tools and operational controls.

  • Develop and maintain documentation concerning security processes, procedures, and investigation workflows.

  • Participate in threat hunting and analysis activities under mentorship from senior team members.

  • Generate clear, timely, and accurate documentation and reports pertaining to security incidents and operational findings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Foundational experience or exposure to cybersecurity operations, monitoring, or incident analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Basic knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and security telemetry.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing as part of a regional team.
