Role Summary:  

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join a Convertibles team in Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will bring 3–10 years of dedicated credit experience, gained at a buy-side credit fund, hedge fund, private credit platform, or an investment bank leveraged finance group. This hire will support the portfolio manager and contribute to sourcing and active management of convertible bond investments. This role is designed for individuals with a strong academic background and a proven track record of excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct credit analysis for convertible issuers across all sectors and support the integration of credit insights into convertible strategies.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, scenario analyses, capital structure reviews, and covenant analyses.
• Evaluate business quality, competitive positioning, management strength, and industry dynamics.
• Stay current on market trends, macroeconomic factors, and sector developments impacting the convertibles book.
• Track portfolio company performance, liquidity, covenant compliance, and upcoming catalysts.
• Monitor portfolio risk exposures and recommend adjustments where appropriate.
• Partner with trading, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and refine an investment framework under the mentorship of the Portfolio Manager.

Qualifications:

• 3–10 years of dedicated credit experience gained at a buy-side credit fund, hedge fund, private credit platform, or investment bank leveraged finance group.
• Strong academic background.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
