Position Summary

S&P Global is seeking an experienced & motivated Account Coordinator to facilitate daily client deliverables within the WSO Services group. The individual will be responsible for managing client inquiries and client support for the WSOWeb outsourcing platform.  Additional responsibilities include partnering with other Markit business lines around client resolution and satisfaction. Finally, this employee will partner directly with our Account Specialists and Account Management on daily execution of client deliverables.


Duties & Accountabilities

  • Manage day-to-day client inquiries including the orchestration of workflow and timely resolution between internal teams.  Clients include Asset Managers, Banks, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, and Total Return Swap programs
  • Capture and report client statistics, trends, and metrics based on a series of quantitative measures (e.g. Assets Under Management)
  • Assist Operations Managers, Acct Specialists and Acct Management with as needed daily project management, data validation, and data deliverables
  • Assist Operations Team by keeping track of the Integration Utility (internal software system) on a daily basis to make sure assets are subscribed and activity is being downloaded to client positions
  • Act as subject matter expert for processing across the department in addition to leading and motivating other analyst by generating new ideas and creating efficiencies
  • Represent their team in the internal Ideas Committee board, collecting product and process improvements from all team members; help prioritize enhancements to be in line with WSO Product Board roadmap and overall team strategy


Business Competencies

Education and experience

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience
  • Accounting / Finance Major preferred
  • Relative business experience between 1-3 years

Commercial awareness

  • Banking or investment industry experience
  • Customer relations experience
