The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatile .Net Developer to join the Product Systems build team. The Product Systems build team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for software application supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. The role involves leading and performing the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications in Full stack Dot net technologies, leading analysis of end user processes to define application requirements, writing and compiling complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications, Identifying and resolving complex programming or application architecture problems, and recommending improvements.

Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to Interact with peers and customers. Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs. Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements. Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications. Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance. Identifies and recommends improvements. Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have hands on experience in Windows Forms, WPF, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, .Net Core
  • Must have hands-on experience in C++ and VC++
  • Good understanding of Relational database and working experience in SQL/Oracle Server, Oracle development environment
  • Good Working knowledge on RabbitMQ/Kafka, Denodo (Data Virtualization), Redis Cache, API Connect
  • Working knowledge on PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) along with containerization and working with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good understanding about Unit and UI test automation
  • Must have hands on experience with PL/SQL and Oracle capabilities / functionalities
  • Experience in Visual Studio, Sql Server 2012/2014
  • Working knowledge of JSON, XML, XPATH and XSLT.
  • Working knowledge in UI frameworks – HTML5, CSS3, Telerik Kendo UI, JQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, JavaScript etc.
  • Experience in using data structures and algorithms.
  • Complete ability to manage all software configuration items, installation and cutover of the computing products within a given scope. Also have experience in ALM tools (GitLab, TFS, ClearCase, SVN).
  • DevOps, Continuous Integration. Experience in using any CICD tools like Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory etc.
  • Complete knowledge of the concepts and processes of managing a software system throughout the entire life cycle. Ability to participate in all stages of the software development life cycle.
  • Must have excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4-8 years of experience in Full stack Dot net Technologies (Windows Forms, WPF, ASP.NET MVC)
  • Agile Methodologies (eg. Scrum, Kanban)
  • DevOps, Continuous Integration
  • C#.NET, C++, VC++, XML, Windows Forms, SQL, VB6

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • .NET Core will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of FrameMaker and FDK will be an advantage.
