ALSAC’s Program offers an immersive experience where interns experience our culture, contribute to organization’s goals through projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Interns are assigned to a day-to-day manager where they are with provided meaningful assignments. Interns will truly understand what it's like to be a part of the ALSAC/St.Jude. ALSAC/St.Jude was selected as the 100 best internship programs in the U.S. in 2022 by WayUp and Yello.

Hours: 20 hours a week (Monday-Friday)

Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
Must be comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Actively participate in the Summer Intern Innovation Project through cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and your assigned project.
Ability to work in a team environment but also work strong independently.
Ability to be organized and detailed to balance several projects simultaneously.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:
Field Development creates and executes shared experiences in order to acquire and cultivate donors in a given territory. The Delta office focuses on funding the mission of St. Jude with various programs, including Dinners, Galas & Golf, St. Jude Dream Home Giveaways, Youth programs and Walk/Runs.
Responsibilities include:
St. Jude Walk/Run Support
Assist in execution of communication strategies to lapsed participants for the St. Jude Walk/Run
Work with lead staff to create promotional materials
Reimagine and assist with social media strategies to promote event
Assist with recommitting teams
Assist with prospecting for school teams and community teams
Outreach calls to participants and team captains
Social Media Strategy and Calendar for Spring
Create social media strategy using a content calendar for Facebook and Instagram
Engage in Regional St. Jude Heroes, TN, MS and AR Regional Facebook pages
Work with staff to include all region events and strategies into content calendar
St. Jude Dream Home Campaign Support
Create and manage social media strategy that recognizes both national and local St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway partners and promotes active ticket sales
Dinner, Gala, Golf Auction Support
Assisting with pre-event needs for our Dinner, Golf, Gala team
Manages Silent Auction Internal Procedures
Majors preferred: Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Social Media, Non-Profit Management, Communications
Skills preferred: Customer Service, Marketing, Social Media-Facebook and Instagram, Microsoft Outlook
