Job Summary

As the IT Domain Specialist, your role is key in improving the stability and reliability of our cloud offerings and solutions to ensure continuity of service for our customers. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end development of key cloud platform and solutions which includes technical design, integration requirements, delivery and lifecycle management.

You are a specialist across and/or within a technology domain and viewed as the go-to person in the business to provide technical support in the development and delivery of cloud infrastructure platforms and solutions.

Focus of the Role

To design, build and support service assurance capabilities as a part of high performance software engineering team. ServiceNow Developer role involves designing, developing, and implementing various ServiceNow modules such as Customer Service Management, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, ITAM, and Service Catalog workflows

What You’ll Do  

  • Develop, Deploy and improve specific technologies and their interaction with Telstra processes and systems to deliver products and services to customer business units.
  • Achieve a well-defined, functioning, and repeatable set of key business, with product owners and technology processes to ensure consistent quality is maintained.
  • Perform application performance, load analysis and assist in capacity planning as required to support the solution.
  • Peer Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
  • Learn new technologies quickly and able to implement the same.
  • Technology Assessments and Estimation of new features
  • Participate into Technology POCs and technical forums to share knowledge.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with more than 5+ years' experience and a strong portfolio.
  • Extensive experience as a ServiceNow administrator and support.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience on scripting and flow designers.
  • Extensive experience on ServiceNow functional modules ITSM, ITOM and CMDB
  • Knowledge on TSM and related modules (OMT, FSM and SPM)
  • Experience in developing workflows and supporting service technology teams
  • Knowledge in ITILV3 management best practices
  • Extensive experience in integrations through APIs platform
  • Experience in developing solutions in JavaScript, Jelly script and AngularJS
  • Experience developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience on Change, Incident, Problem management
  • Experience in Agile way of working, JIRA & Confluence tools
