About the Role

Associate US Benefits will assist in the administration and maintenance of the US company benefit programs including H&W, Retirement, Leave, Time Off and Wellbeing. 

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for monthly benefit billings:  audit, reconcile and coordinate remittance process, track retroactive changes and refunds, prepare intercompany billings for Corporate Finance, and prepare divisional chargeback reports.

  • Responsible for direct bill process.

  • Responsible for processing QMCSO’s, coordinating coverage for Expats and Third Country Nationals, and COBRA.

  • Participate in the management of the relationship with third party benefits administrator. 

  • Assists with Annual Enrollment process as needed.

  • Responsible for dissemination of all annual required notices, including SARs, HIPAA, CHIPRA, SBCs, Medicare Part D, disability statutory notices, fee disclosures, etc.

  • Responsible for internal and external Tier 1 case management inquiries and ensuring SLAs are met.

  • Responsible for responding to all census requests from vendors.

  • Responsible for running ad hoc reports as required.

  • Responsible for processing COBRA subsidies.

  • Responsible for Department Monthly Activity Reports and Dashboards.

  • Responsible for inbound vendor feeds into payroll and working error reports.

  • Responsible for outbound vendor demographic feeds and working error reports.

  • Assist with upkeep on internal intranet.

 

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.

  • 2 years of benefits administration experience, leave of absence a plus.

  • Working knowledge of HR principles and practices specifically in benefit plans, policies and processes.

  • Requires effective oral and written communications skills.

  • Advanced English level.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically Excel.

  • Working knowledge of US payroll, benefits, laws, and regulations.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • CBP or CEBS preferred – not sure what is equivalent in Mexico or Hungary.

  • Preferred experience with Workday.

  • Preferred experience with case management systems.

  • Experience with Businessolver’s benefits administration platform.
