Dallas, TX - Joe Field Rd - Bulk cryo logistics - ANCExpectations and Responsibilities:
•Typical shift is Monday-Friday with the ability to be on call some weekends.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluation and complete all required documentation of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis, following the company operation procedure.
• Execute scheduled route and service plans.
• Maintains professional demeanor, and customer service orientation in daily service to customers.
• Completes logs and reports as requested. Maintains basic records of truck mileage, deliveries made, and other pertinent data as needed.
• Responsible for the safe and accurate loading/unloading and transporting of CO2 products for servicing. Including but not limited to; climbing 14 ft ladders, operating battery and electric power tools. Maneuvering equipment up to 500 lbs with a hand truck and ability to work overhead regularly. Obtains required signatures from customers as needed.
•Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time within the region including layovers with 1-2 weeks prior notice. When travel is expected, Airgas will pay for any hotel accommodations, flights or car rentals. All ANC trucks are day cabs, there is no expectancy for layovers in sleeper cabs.
•Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of any specialty gas is a plus.
•Pay: starting at $27/hr
•Regional area of coverage: DFW and surrounding areas up 150 miles out
•Active CDL B and both Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements with at least 1 year CMV experience within the last 4 years. No exceptions.
•All ANC trucks are CDL B rated, and slip seats are utilized.
•At least 22 years old.
•No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.
•No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.
•No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years. No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support". No DUI in the last 7 years.
•High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
•Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and maneuver up to 500lbs with a hand truck.
