Purpose:
This person assists with assembling and ensures that all parts, machines, and sub-assemblies are built to specifications, drawings and BOM requirements and maintains the standard of quality expected by Unifiller Systems Inc.

Primary Duties:

• Assembles, fits and installs prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or completes product assembly using hand and/or small power tools

• Reads, interprets and follows drawings, BOM’s and other specifications to determine assembly requirements

• Ensures that all products meet specified tolerances, while following and meeting all quality standards essential to Unifiller Systems standards

• Assists with training of new employees upon request

• Maintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and procedures

• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate efficient processes and good safety practices

• Carries out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Background in assembly and/or related experience preferred

• Manufacturing experience is considered an asset

• Mechanical aptitude

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

• Able to lift minimum 50lbs Tools/Equipment Needed:

• Steel toed safety shoes
