Position Summary...

Walmart Global Ethics & Compliance Program Acceleration is in search of an outstanding Manager of Controls and Technology Monitoring. The perfect candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation, backed by a robust background in compliance and hands-on building data analytics capabilities. You will work closely with both the Global Ethics and Compliance subject matter areas, and Walmart Global Technology to support the identification, documentation and maintenance of regulatory controls, and facilitate the implementation of continuous monitoring for those controls. 
 
The Program Acceleration Controls and Technology Monitoring Team oversees the global governance processes related to Compliance controls, and supports the design, implementation, execution and analysis of controls-related technology monitoring globally for Walmart’s Ethics & Compliance programs.

What you'll do...

  • Collaborate with Global Ethics & Compliance and Walmart Global Technology to establish and manage robust automated continuous monitoring for Ethics & Compliance controls.
  • Support and foster a strategy for continuous monitoring of controls, leveraging technology to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with Global Ethics & Compliance subject matter teams to define and implement success metrics for controls and control effectiveness.
  • Partner with and mentor peers, fostering a culture of candor, mutual trust, and shared vision, and consistently achieving exceptional results.
  • Identify potential risks and communicate them to leadership promptly.

  • Proven hands-on experience building analytics dashboards (PowerBI/AuditBoard).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, Information Technology, or related field Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Accounting or Technology, ideally within a large-scale, complex organization.
  • Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and/or Mandarin) highly preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
