We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality initiatives and ensure the highest standards of product reliability and performance. This role will focus on driving quality improvements across sourcing, engineering, and technology functions, supporting new product introductions, and managing supplier performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience in refrigeration or air conditioning systems (sealed systems).

How You'll Create Possibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier quality initiatives across sourcing, engineering, and technology functions.
  • Drive quality efforts for Sourced Finished Products and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Support Transfer of Work (TOW) projects by validating supplier readiness, tooling, and process capability.
  • Improve Cost of Quality (COQ) through projects and field issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance processes and eliminate potential quality risks.
  • Support supplier capacity and delivery improvements ensuring safety, quality, and reliability.
  • Strengthening supplier process robustness and quality system maturity.
  • Provide design and process expertise for critical components and finished goods.
  • Manage supplier performance, change controls, and escalations.
  • Conduct audits and close quality risks and non-conformances.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for plant and field issues.
  • Ensure long-term supplier quality sustainability and service part availability.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering, with focus on sealed system engineering or product quality for refrigeration or air conditioning products.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, process capability, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with NPI, TOW, and supplier qualification processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
  • Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, 8D, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with refrigeration systems, sealed systems, or RVAC/Commercial AC Products.
  • Experience working with appliance components in a technical, manufacturing, or quality role.
  • Working knowledge of supplier or manufacturing quality systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with global supplier management and escalation processes.
  • Experience in cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex information and concisely prepare executive summaries.
