Agile Product Owner 


Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location, 5800 Northampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The Agile Product Owner will be responsible for the tasks listed below. 


How you will make an impact:

•    Analyze existing processes and determine ways to improve efficiency [3%].
•    Act as liaison between business and IT departments [5%].
•    Write documentation and create process flow diagrams [5%].
•    Understand/refine business problems with E2E architecture and engineering to understand the requirements for new shared platform capabilities [5%].
•    Partner with UI/UX researcher to orchestrate meaningful demos of the proposed resolution [a new exercise before road-mapping a capability] [5%].
•    Take ownership of defining/managing technical/UI/UX debts within the backlog [15%].
•    Chair Product Customer Journey workshop and create workflows for the features to define scenarios and intersection points for the data analytics solutions [10%].
•    Ensure Data Platform features are compliant to HITRUST & HIPAA compliance [2%].
•    Shepherd user stories and requirements through scrum teams for implementation, accept user stories, review test cases, and manage defects as needed for the team backlog [20%].
•    Define, measure, and analyze metrics that inform the success of products to Product Managers/Leadership [10%].
•    Understand and articulate the business value of new capabilities and features via formal product demonstration [5%].
•    Prepare solid product definition and all required artifacts for the scrum teams to develop a product [10%].
•    Act as a key bridge between the broader product team and the delivery team and articulate user persona, customer, and market context to internal teams [5%].

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements:


Three (3) years of experience must include: 


•    Three (3) years of experience working in information technology. 
•    Two (2) years of experience with operational or data analysis.
•    Two (2) years of experience with database structures.
•    Two (2) years of experience with writing and translating requirements from business to IT.
•    Two (2) years of experience with managing data acquisition for cloud-based data platforms.
•    Two (2) years of experience with managing data transformation for cloud-based data platforms.
