About the Role:

The Manager, Field Operations is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of market access and field medical reporting, analytics, and operational infrastructure for Neurocrine’s Market Access and Field Medical teams, as well as key home office partners. This role plays a critical part in enabling payer engagement strategy, HCP education, and scientific exchange by ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of field-facing insights.
The Manager serves as a hands-on operational leader, owning and optimizing reporting solutions that support payer account management, formulary access, pull-through initiatives, and Medical Science Liaison (MSL) activity and insights reporting. The role partners closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal, and Analytics teams to deliver compliant, actionable insights that inform strategy, resource deployment, and external engagement.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Leads execution, maintenance, and enhancement of market access and field medical reporting solutions, ensuring compliant, accurate, and timely delivery of dashboards, insights, and performance metrics

  • Serves as business owner for reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, PocketRep, MMIT, Veeva), with a focus on payer analytics, formulary status, account-level insights, and MSL activity and insights reporting.

  • Designs and maintains reporting that integrates payer data, formulary coverage, lives, claims, specialty pharmacy, and pull-through metrics to support Market Access strategy and field execution

  • Oversees field medical insights reporting, including capture, categorization, synthesis, and visualization of MSL-reported insights to inform Medical Affairs strategy and evidence generation

  • Partners with Market Access leadership to support payer account planning, territory alignment, and performance measurement across National and Regional Account teams

  • Supports Field Medical leadership with analytics related to MSL deployment, engagement trends, scientific exchange activity, and insight themes, ensuring compliance with Medical Affairs standards

  • Manages operational calendars for data refreshes, reporting releases, and alignment cycles relevant to Market Access and Field Medical teams

  • Oversees vendor relationships and deliverables related to payer data, formulary tracking, and access analytics (e.g., MMIT, IQVIA, Beghou, ZS)

  • Acts as a primary liaison across Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal, and Data & Analytics to ensure reporting solutions meet regulatory and governance requirements

  • Leads business reviews and presents market access performance trends, payer insights, and field medical intelligence to senior stakeholders

  • Establishes QA standards, documentation, and governance for market access and medical reporting, ensuring audit readiness and data integrity

  • Drives automation and modernization of reporting workflows to improve scalability, usability, and insight delivery for non-commercial field teams

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree and 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech Commercial Operations, Market Access Operations, Medical Affairs Operations, or Field Operations OR

  • Master's degree preferred and 4+ years of similar experience noted above

  • Proven experience supporting Market Access organizations, including payer analytics, formulary tracking, account-level reporting, or access performance measurement

  • Experience supporting Field Medical / MSL teams, including activity reporting, insights capture, or medical analytics

  • Strong understanding of payer data sources (e.g., MMIT, IQVIA, claims, specialty pharmacy) and how they are used to inform access strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while leading complex initiatives through cross-functional influence rather than direct authority

  • Experience managing external vendors and data partners supporting market access and medical reporting

  • Proficiency with Power BI (or similar BI tools), SQL, advanced Excel, and data validation techniques

  • Familiarity with Veeva CRM (Commercial and/or Medical) and understanding of data governance requirements specific to Market Access and Medical Affairs

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $132,700.00-$182,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
