What will you contribute?


Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Software Architect will execute, deliver and document Proof of Concept (PoC) work such that it is aligned with a defined PoC framework.  The role demands a strong contribution to, and the associated education of, a Patterns & Practices (PnP) repository, including a set of reference implementations and/or libraries, that demonstrate best practices for software development.  As a Technical Evangelist of standards, best practices and technology roadmaps the candidate will engage and communicate with a breadth of stakeholders (via seminars, workshops, codefests, hackathons, etc.).  The role requires active support of a global Architecture & Development community through evolving collaboration environments and techniques. As a member of the ASTI group you will be a reviewer of, and contributor to, Architecture principles, standards, proposed Product Architecture solutions and an overall R&D Backlog.  The candidate will also be responsible for cooperative development of compliant solution architectures for various Finastra initiatives in addition to the identification of the same for adoption of R&D outputs.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as a Senior Software Architect will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performing systems using microservices and REST APIs.
  • Lead the development and integration of applications built on Java Spring Boot.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across teams.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements.
  • 🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 9–14 years of experience in system architecture and enterprise application development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Microservices architecture
    • RESTful API design and implementation
    • Java Spring Boot framework
  • understanding of cloud platforms  Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of software design principles
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
