Who We Are Looking For:

VML is hiring a Program Director for the world’s largest CPG/Beverage company to stand up a full PMO org on our Shop X team. You have fully integrated experience and a breadth and depth of expertise to lead large multi-disciplinary teams of people to successfully deliver fast-paced client solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • People | Partner with the Account leads to provide ongoing client satisfaction. You’ll oversee the development of integrated project and program deliverables across a large, cross-agency and IAT. You will interface with other agencies within WPP, focusing primarily on internal operations rather than client interactions.
  • Process | Establish and maintain project and program communications. Oversee project estimations and staffing recommendations, as well as implementing new processes across large streams of work, as needed. Ensure that calendars and deployment schedules are maintained for multiple operating units globally.
  • Financials | Responsible for project profitability. Plan, track, and approve project expenses, billing, and invoices. Partner with the finance team to develop a consistent profitability and utilization view across all workstreams. Manage resource allocation on an ongoing, weekly basis as well as monitoring project burn rates, budgets, and reconciliations.
  • Work | This role is responsible for driving projects forward from point A to point B and ensuring excellent and timely delivery. Provide purpose, direction, and motivation to the team. You’ll be a champion for the work and internal project team by taking notes, following up, building timelines and plans, etc. Additionally, you'll build slides, create compelling stories, and manage comprehensive documentation.

What You'll Need:

  • 7-10 years of experience in PMO leadership and delivery management in a client-facing role, ideally within an agency setting.
  • Shopper marketing, commerce, and CPG brand experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing large-scale integrated, omnichannel programs with multiple parallel work streams and teams.
  • Experience working with integrated agency teams and external partner agencies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday, RAID, Jira.
  • Strong project management operations skillset, including the ability to manage meetings effectively and capture actionable next steps.
  • Ability to understand and prioritize tasks, support the team in navigating challenges, and build operational rigor.
  • Proven ability to execute tasks and deliver results with precision.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
