POSITION SUMMARY

As the M&A Integration and Special Projects Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing integration plans for newly acquired businesses, along with project managing cross-functional project-based efforts within EarnIn. You will collaborate with teams across engineering, product, finance, people, IT, legal, and operations to ensure smooth transitions, mitigate risks, and realize value from our acquisitions. Your expertise in both M&A and business integration will enable you to develop strategies, execute plans, and manage day-to-day integration tasks. Your project management skills and ability to work across teams will help you drive impact across a broader set of efforts under the CFO’s purview.

What You'll Do:

  • Integration Planning: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive integration strategies and timelines for acquisitions, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (finance, HR, IT, operations, legal) and external advisors to facilitate integration efforts.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess integration risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruption.
  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to align corporate cultures, values, and operating procedures of acquired companies with our organizational goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure integration success and ensure targets are met.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and the integration team, providing regular updates and reports on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring smooth communication and decision-making across teams.
  • Post-integration Optimization: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and synergies post-integration to maximize the value of acquisitions.
  • Special Projects Coordination: Own project management of CFO-sponsored cross-functional initiatives, such as systems integration, partner integrations, investor initiatives, and public company readiness efforts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, specifically in post-merger integration.
  • Strong understanding of M&A processes and best practices, particularly in integration planning and execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deliver under tight deadlines, and meet organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to draw insights and identify levers from data.
  • Experience with change management, project management, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in M&A transactions.
  • Certification in project management preferred.
  • Experience in managing cross-border M&A integrations preferred.
  • Proficiency in systems and financial integration tools preferred.
