What this opportunity involves:
An apportunity to join a new technology and consulting client as a Facilities Coordinator in Sydney CBD.
 

Lead day-to-day client activities for assigned properties and serve as the on-site key point of contact. Assist with site budgets, accounting, finance, maintenance, operations, vendor oversight, purchasing, occupancy services, helpdesk, and project management. Deliver services in accordance with client Service Levels and KPIs.


 

An overview of the role:
 

  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance, inspecting all works to ensure required standards are met

  • Assist in vendor procurement and selection

  • Conduct daily office walk-throughs ensuring safe, clean, organised spaces

  • Process orders and track inventories for office supplies and equipment

  • Review and resolve ticket requests and Work Orders

  • Support Moves/Adds/Changes and minor project management

  • Provide meeting room booking support and receptionist coverage as needed

  • Coordinate pantry and vending machine inventory with staff

  • Manage purchase orders

  • Process vendor invoices and verify accuracy

  • Provide rostered 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance if required

  • Conduct regular safety audits and assist in carrying out safety procedures

  • Induct vendors to site-specific situations and maintain records

  • Perform general office tasks: documents, spreadsheets, publications, signage

  • Liaise between office staff and facilities management for service requests

  • Assist with new hire onboarding and IT coordination

  • Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, customer service, or related field

  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; manages ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and high-pressure situations effectively

  • Financial Management/Budget experience

  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety, critical facilities, and vendor management (advantageous)

  • Proactive, self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail
